Daniel Radcliffe Says Gay Sex Is Really Painful

Former Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is playing author and noted homosexual beat poet Allen Ginsberg in the upcoming film Kill Your Darling, and the role gave him a little bit of insight into guy on guy intercourse.
"I don’t think there’s any difference between how one falls in love. People express love differently, person to person, but it’s not gender or sexuality related. The only difference it made was obviously the actual sex scene, of course," Radcliffe explained of playing outside his own sexual norms.
When asked about said sex scene, Radcliffe admitted, "I was talked through it by the director [John Krokidas]. He would be telling me what I would be feeling in each take. Basically, gay sex, especially for the first time, is really f*cking painful."
We think what he meant in a more politically correct way is that sodomy is really painful.
"[Krokidas] said that he had never seen that portrayed accurately on film before. He wanted it to look like an authentic loss of virginity."
Kill Your Darlings will be in theatres near you on October 18.
