Daniel Day-Lewis Apparently Has A Rapper Son

So apparently, Daniel Day-Lewis has a son...who can rap...and he's a real person and everything (and not, as I suspected, another instance of Daniel Day-Lewis going all-in for a new role).

Gabe Day has exploded onto the hip-hop scene, but much like any son of a three-time Oscar winner, he doesn't particularly feel like being compared to his famous father. "Call me Gabe Day and not Gabe Day-Lewis, because if you're trying to call me out I'm 'bout to Gabe Day-Lose-It!" he raps, in a line that may or may not be the best thing I've heard all week. Of course, this isn't a completely unexpected career for a Day man: Gabe's late grandfather was Cecil Day-Lewis, Poet Laureate of the United Kingdom from 1968 to 1972. With lines like "Judgin' someone for their dad is just as bad as being racist," I think it's clear that the heir apparent has officially arrived, not unlike the first Uggs of the season.
