Danica Patrick To Race Pink Car for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Danica Patrick, NASCAR driver and upcoming American Country Awards co-host, will race a pink car for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
She's been in New York to launch the month with Chevrolet racing and GoDaddy, and yesterday (October 1) unveiled her GoDaddy #10 Chevy race car which has been painted pink. She also unveiled the Chevrolet Camaro SS Pink pace car, to be used in upcoming races throughout October.
For every lap led by the Camaro pace car, General Motors will donate $200 to the American Cancer Society, while since 2011 Chevy has donated $2.2 million to aid in breast cancer awareness. The pink Camaro pace car will also be driven at the Sprint Cup Series races at Talladega Motor Speedway on October 19 and Martinsville on October 26.
The car looks amazing and it's great what Danica's doing, thumbs up from me!
