Dana Williams Earns West Coast Save on 'Rising Star'
Make it two weeks in a row for Dana Williams on Rising Star!
After last night's Top 13 performance show ended with her failing to make the Top 7, Williams earned the West Coast Save for a second straight week to become the eighth and final singer in the Top 8. Williams was eliminated despite delivering one of the night's better performances, with her unique take on Disclosure's "Latch". She initially was in the Top 7 but found herself in the hot seat towards the end of the show, losing her spot at the last moment to Austin French (who delivered a stirring rendition of "If I Ain't Got You" to earn 86% of the vote).
Congrats to @IAmDanaWilliams with the #WestCoastSave #RisingStar ????????????????
— Rising Star (@RisingStarABC) August 4, 2014I have absolutely no problem with the West Coast's decision, as Williams is a considerable talent. But what do you think? If not Williams, whom would you have liked to see saved? Sound off in the comments!
