Dana Carvey performs 'Choppin' Broccoli' on The Tonight Show (VIDEO)

By Rickey ·

Dana Carvey performed his classic song 'The Lady I Know' (aka 'Choppin' Broccoli') on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. He was accompanied by an orchestra.

'Choppin' Broccoli' was a classic skit on SNL Saturday Night Live. Carvey played a character named Derek Stevens who just invented lyrics to any song by adding "choppin' broccoli" to it. Anything can sound like a classic rock ballad if you add feeling!

Dana Carvey also played Wheel of Impressions with Jimmy Fallon.
