Dami Im - Wrecking Ball - The X Factor Australia - Video

Dami Im sang “Wrecking Ball” on The X Factor Australia 2013 Live Show 9.

Yeah, Dami's winning this thing. Loved this performance, even though it was far from perfect. Like most Dami performances, it took a while to build. But once it did, she never relented. It felt like genuine passion the whole way through, and the power of her vocal made up for the shakiness in the beginning (and the distracting male dancers/acrobats in the background). Even if Dami ultimately doesn't win this competition, I still feel like she's won this competition. She's one of the most buzzed-about contestants on any singing show this year, and if buzz translates to record sales in any measurable respect whatsoever (and, admittedly, it doesn't always), then Dami should have a hell of a career ahead of her. If nothing else, she deserves to have made it this far, and deserves to go farther still.
