Dallas Davidson Defends Song; Tells Zac Brown To Respect His Creativity

Oh, shoot.

Zac Brown's recent comments about the state of country music and how Luke Bryan's song 'That's My Kind of Night' is the worst country song ever have been met with even more backlash. Just this morning I reported how Jason Aldean had taken to Instagram to defend the song and Luke, and noted that more people would probably come up on that side now. Well, they have.

Dallas Davidson, one of the co-writers of 'That's My Kind of Night' and someone notorious for writing nearly every polarizing tailgate/ice cold beer/daisy duke song around has tweeted Zac. He said, "I wrote the song. I don't expect you to like every song I write but I do expect you to respect my creativity."

I understand where he's coming from as a co-writer but I also don't feel like it was necessary to get involved, either. Why should Zac have to respect his creativity? If it were me I'd just ignore Zac's comments, seems a pretty arrogant response.

But, that's all by-the-by as I furiously stuff popcorn into my mouth.
