CW Upfronts - Pictures

Today was the CW upfronts in New York City, a presentation where the network can show off some of its biggest stars in current television and new material coming for the fall. It was crazy, crazy, crazy and I was able to meet several of my favorites, including Steven R. McQueen, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Justin Hartley, and many more.

I got to New York City Center with my friend Tomwattie around 5:10am, which I figured had to be early enough to warrant a decent spot. Barricades were set up a bit later on, and we managed to get a front barricade spot right by the green carpet.

Arrivals started around 9:00, but due to the length of the carpet and such, nobody even got down to us until about 10:00. Justin Hartley was first, and I was so happy because he was very nice. I told him how much I loved him in Passions!

Jessica Stroup made the funniest face. So cute!

Kristin Kreuk was amazing in Smallville. I can’t wait for Beauty and the Beast this fall!

Shenae Grimes was incredibly nice and humble. I told her how much I loved her in Scream 4 and her whole face lit up.

Kat Graham was such a sweetheart… the second she came over to me she started chatting with me about the Hunger Games and how she loved my shirt. We are obsessed!

Steven R. McQueen was probably my top person I wanted to meet at Upfronts, and he was ridiculously nice. He’s like the Cory Monteith of TVD world. Super gracious. He is too epic for words.

Candice Accola was another person who stopped for everyone. She looked gorgeous.

Ian Somerhalder was only doing autographs, so luckily I brought my Vampire Diaries season 1 DVD. He is such a sweet man! I freaked out when he signed XO before his signature.

Matt Davis only stopped for autographs, but he skipped over the majority of my side. He looked beautiful!

Jessica Lucas was quite cute.

Katie Cassidy didn’t stop for a whole lot of photos. I loved her in Gossip Girl and Nightmare on Elm Street.

Shane West was very cool.. I’m in love with A Walk to Remember.

Paul Wesley’s ear grazed my ear after this picture. I adore this man. Team Stefan!

Zach Roerig was hysterical. This was one of my favorites.

Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles weren’t doing any photos, and I didn’t have anything for them to sign. They looked beautiful, though.

Maggie Q ! She was very laid back. Nina Dobrev also stopped for me and signed my DVD; she wasn't doing any photos. She looked stunning in her dress!

Michael Trevino stopped a few people short of me on the way in, and he didn’t stop on the way back to his hotel. I adore him! He’s amazing.

Steven R. McQueen came by again and I got a second photo with him. I couldn’t resist asking for another one. This is perfection!

Stephen Amell, who is going to be the new Green Arrow.

I also got another one with Zach Roerig… he was adorable!

After everyone walked through, I headed back to the hotel which wasn’t even a block away. I met Mark Feuerstein from Growing Pains!

I also spontaneously bumped into David Krumholtz, who is simply perfection. He was like “Don’t mind my bad hair day”… he is so funny!

Before I left to head back home, Anna Sophia Robb came out. She didn’t take any photos at the upfronts, but was super nice this time. She got everyone!

For a day where I got zero sleep and wasn’t sure about the setup, I would say things turned out pretty great. I still wish there had been some Gossip Girl people there, though. The TV upfronts are officially over today after USA. I’m most excited for the new show The Carrie Diaries. I can’t wait!
