CW Renews 'The Carrie Diaries' and 'Nikita'

It's official! According to E!, The CW has renewed both The Carrie Diaries and Nikita.

The Sex and the City prequel series centers on a young Carrie Bradshaw (played brilliantly by Annasophia Robb) juggling life in the Connecticut suburbs with a budding career in Manhattan. The show slowly developed a solid core following heading into the close of its first season, and a renewal was most certainly warranted.

Spy drama Nikita will be heading into its fourth season. A shortened run hints at a final season, but no official announcement has been made.
