Cullen Jones Wins Silver Medal - Men's 50m Freestyle - London 2012 Olympics - Medal Results

American Cullen Jones came up just short in the Men's 50m Freestyle at the London 2012 Olympics.  Jones captured the silver medal.  Read on for the rest of your results and race details.

The 50m Freestyle event is always a bit of a crap-shoot and is often decided by mere hundredths of a second.  Jones was right there in the mix, but it was Florent Manauadou of France who would win the gold and the title of "fastest man in the pool."

Results:

Gold: Florent Manauadou - France

Silver: Cullen Jones - United States

Bronze: Cesar Cielo - Brazil

Congratulations to all the medalists!
