Crystal Bowersox sold 58,000 copies of Farmer's Daughter on her debut week according to Nielsen SoundScan. The album debuts at #28 on the Billboard 200.

Crystal outsold Lee DeWyze by 19,000 units. For the second year in a row, the runner-up on American Idol has demonstrated the dubiousness of the American Idol result. In Season 8, Adam Lambert outsold winner Kris Allen by a lot. Should Adam and Crystal have won American Idol? Probably.
