Criminal Charges Expected Against Richard Heene Father of Balloon Boy
Richard Heene, father of Balloon Boy Falcon Heene, will be charged by Colorado authorities for "unspecified criminal charges in the near future" for the Balloon Boy incident.
Wow. This went down very quickly!
Heene has repeatedly denied that the incident was a hoax, but now it seems that local authorities have something against him. Unfortunately, the only charge they can levy against him if it was a hoax is "making a false report" to authorities which is a Class 3 misdemeanor. Maybe they are building up a bigger case right now.
