Craig Wayne Boyd sang 'Workin' Man Blues' by Merle Haggard on The Voice Season 7 Semi-Finals on Monday, December 8, 2014 for Team Blake Shelton.

Yup, this was fantastic. Craig has really come alive as a performer since these live shows started, and this may have been his apex. The man is the total country package, offering a southern rock aesthetic and a classic country sensibility. He has such a grip on his own artistry that it's just great to watch.

Pharrell says this was the kind of performance you get from someone who knows exactly who they are, and he can't wait to hear what Craig's album sounds like. Gwen says that Craig sings incredibly well, a sentiment echoed by Adam. Blake, however, goes one further and says that Craig is one of the best singers he's ever heard in his life, "and I'm not even talking about on this show." He praises the way Craig grabs hold of a melody with his grit and adds his own spin to it. He feels Craig could be the guy with the greatest possibility of becoming a superstar out of this show.
