Craig Robinson Arrested for Weed, Ecstasy in Bahamas

Craig Robinson, who you probably recognize from his stint on The Office as well as his appearances in comedies like Hot Tub Time Machine and This is the End was arrested in the Bahamas yesterday (Oct. 9) after trying to board a plane with ecstasy and marijuana in his possession.

And sadly it was not because he was preparing for that Pineapple Express sequel everyone wants.

When searched, Robinson was found with 18 ecstasy pills and half a gram of marijuana on his person and he plead guilty to two counts of possession.

Robinson -- who was in the area for a comedy show at the Atlantis hotel -- claimed that he bought the drugs in the United States and had no idea they were illegal in the Bahamas.

Gossip Cop reports that after his guilty plea the judge ordered him to pay a $1,000 fine and to leave the country. Which isn't too bad considering the charges had him facing up to four years in prison.

The comedian was also arrested back in 2008 for possession of ecstasy and methamphetamine, charges which were dropped after completing a "drug diversion" program.
