VIDEO: Courteney Cox Says a 'Friends' Reunion Will Never Happen
Even though it's been a decade since it left the airwaves, fans are apparently still clamoring for a Friends reunion. But Monica herself is putting the kibosh on all that talk.
Courteney Cox appeared on Late Show With David Letterman on Monday to categorically deny the possibility of there being a Friends reunion. Now or ever.
"Everybody keeps wanting me to ask you, 'Will there be a Friends thing going on?'" Letterman asked the current star of Cougar Town, a comedy that transitioned to TBS after ABC cut it loose. "It's not gonna happen," Cox replied. "There's six friends and I have been trying to put together a cast dinner ten years."

Cox went on to detail just how impossible it is to ever get all six of the castmates together. "It doesn't happen," she explained, recalling the many times dinner plans just fell through. "I mean, I can get the girls [Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow] to come, maybe Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc canceled last time, [David] Schwimmer lives here [in NYC versus Los Angeles], so it's just not going to happen."
