Country Music Hall of Fame 2014 Inductees Announced
Today, during a press conference via live stream, the Country Music Association announced this year's Country Music Hall of Fame inductees. Broadcasting live from the "circle" at the Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee, where all the sculpted tributes to inducted artists are on display, they enlisted the help of those such as the current CMA CEO, artist and radio personality Kix Brooks, ex-CMA CEO Jo Walker-Meador, 2013 inductee Bobby Bare and country pop hitmaker Hunter Hayes to announce the honorees and help with proceedings.
Inducted under the modern era category (20+ years since they rose to national prominence) was Ronnie Milsap, under the veteran era category (45+ years since they rose to national prominence) was bluegrass legend Mac Wiseman, and under the rotating category, this year for songwriter, was Hank Cochran.
Congratulations to the inductees, the ceremony to official induct them will be held later in the year.
