Could Bret Michaels Be Simon's Replacement?

Bret Michaels as American Idol judge? I like this idea!

From ExtraTV:

Now that Simon Cowell has left the building, there is still much speculation on who will replace him as the new "American Idol" judge -- with rocker Bret Michaels possibly throwing his bandana into the ring.

"That's what I'm saying!," Michaels laughed backstage with "Extra" after his great "Idol" perfomance. "Let's just say that I was to slip into Simon's chair. I'm sorry he has to go but sometimes things happen. Provided my health holds up, I think I'm taking that chair next year!"
