'Continuum' To End in 2015 With Six-Episode Fourth Season

One of Syfy's most venerable dramas is coming to an end in 2015 after four seasons.

Both Syfy and Canadian broadcaster Showcase have confirmed that the upcoming fourth season of Continuum will be its last. In addition, the the time-travel drama will only get a six-episode run to wrap things up.

However, while the episode order has been reduced considerably, star Rachel Nichols isn't bitter.

"All great stories deserve an end," Nichols writes. "I am excited and grateful to finish Continuum with the riveting conclusion it deserves. This series finale is dedicated to the devoted fans who have loyally supported us since day one."

So while fans might be a bit disappointed that the show is getting such a brief final season, it's getting a chance to at least wrap its storylines and bring the entire series to a proper conclusion.
