Connie Britton Confirms - 'Friday Night Lights' Movie Isn't Happening

The ending to the Friday Night Lights television series has been praised by many as one of the greatest finales of all time, but that hasn't stopped fans, and some of the shows stars, from keeping rumors of a film reunion swirling for years.

Connie Britton appeared on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this past week, and she seemed to have finally laid the rumors to rest. While Britton herself would "love" to consider a another film (Friday Night Lights the series is originally based off of another movie.) it appears her T.V. husband, Coach Eric Taylor, isn't interested. Kyle Chandler, who's previously hinted at his disinterest, seems to think the show ended on the best note possible. I have to say, the man has a point. While the writers would no doubt create an awesome new film, the series did end brilliantly.
