Connie Britton Teams Up With Ryan Murphy Again for 'American Crime Story'

Connie Britton and Ryan Murphy have not worked together since Season 1 of American Horror Story in 2011, but they're set to team up again!

Sadly not for American Horror Story Season 5 like we all -- Britton included -- want.

Rather, the pair will join forces for Murphy's newest series (the one that isn't Scream Queens) American Crime Story.

Murphy announced the news on Twitter, writing:

The series itself is a brand new FX anthology series. Season 1 will cover the high profile O.J. Simpson murder trial. You know the one.

Britton will play Faye Resnick, a friend of Nicole Brown.

The cast of American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson currently includes Cuba Gooding Jr. (O.J.), Sarah Paulson (Marcia Clark), David Schwimmer (Robert Kardashian), and John Travolta (Robert Shapiro). It is set to premiere later this year.
