Con Con Girls - The Fine Fine Line

There's a fine, fine line, between love... and a waste of time!

Girls: I regret to inform you that Constantine Maroulis brushed off Rickey today.

Setting: It was a nice day in New York, and I thought of going out -- can't stay in the apartment all day again -- must get air! Since I had no material for Constantine this week, I thought it would be a great idea to go to The Wedding Singer and snap a photo for you guys and even a video. Wouldn't it be nice to have Constantine greet the Con Con Girls after two years? Don't we all deserve it? So I packed my stuff and headed for Times Square. I was late to catch the end of the matinee, so I hoped to catch Constantine just before the evening performance. Call time was at 7:30 and I was at the theater at 6:30. It is important to note that I was the ONLY PERSON waiting at the stage door. The other guys hanging around were crew and maybe other actors. So I was there waiting patiently, and then Constantine arrived at about 7:22. He wore his bumblebee shades. He walked past me and then I called: "Constantine, can I take your picture?" Without stopping, he said, "Maybe after the show ok?" Then disappeared into the theater. Everyone outside was shocked and some even gave a chuckle because they knew I had been waiting there all that time, and this "star" couldn't give a fuck. Did he seriously expect me to wait another 3 hours until after the show for his picture? One of the guys even offered that when I go there the next time, he will personally make sure I get a picture -- they honestly felt bad for me. The only other people who've I've asked a picture for and got rejected were: Tim Robbins and Ethan Hawke. And now, Constantine. I think he might have expected me to just snap away like the paparazzi, but clearly, I'm nice enough to ask first.

Anyway, I've not been having a good week in New York to be honest. Perhaps there's something wrong with me lately? Maybe it was my paparazzi-like camera that intimidated Constantine. Or my Saturday shirt. Or maybe he really is just an asshole. At any rate, going back home empty, I thought: This is it. This will be the last time I will talk or post about Constantine ever again. It will be The End.

I'm probably one of a handful of people in the whole world who scour Wireimage for pics of Constantine getting gift bags or getting a haircut. Constantine Maroulis because of the Con Con Girls, somehow still matters at rickey.org -- when a lot of his fans have already abandoned him. But how hard was it to stop, pose for one second, then go. I was the only person there! One second of his precious life, while I spent more than an hour waiting, not to mention the past two years of keeping the flames alive for his fans.

The Con Con Girls are still welcome here, but you have to give me some time (a month at least) to mull over what the mascot did to me.

CCGs are HOT!
