The panel for Teen Wolf was packed at San Diego Comic-Con 2013, featuring Executive producer Jeff Davis along with cast members Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, Dylan O’Brien, Crystal Reed, Dylan Hoechilin, Daniel Sharman, and Charlie and Max Carver.
The panel included some awesome footage of what to expect from Season 3B. Beware, spoilers ahead!
A sneak peek from the rest of the season was aired, and it featured two huge moments that received massive reactions from the crowd: two kisses! One was between Derek and Jennifer, while the other was between...Stiles and Lydia! The crowd erupted at the latter moment, though there was plenty of other bits in the trailer to get excited about, such as a peek at an upcoming episode which EP Jeff Davis described as "Die Hard in a hospital."
Other scoops learned during the panel discussion (via Entertainment Weekly):
-The second half of season three will premiere on January 6!
-"The virgin sacrifices are over,” said Davis, “but the question of Stiles’ virginity has not been answered but it will be answered in an upcoming episode.” Yup, he means sex. Our money’s on a Lydia-Stiles hook-up, especially in light of Davis’s comment later on after the footage from later this season was screened: “A kiss isn’t just a kiss.”
-Viewers will learn “what’s up with Lydia” in episode 9, which will be titled “The Girl Who Knew Too Much.” Roden added a hint, saying: “The name of the episode is a clue.”
-There will be a big Derek flashback episode in the second half of season three! ”It’s one of the most different of our episodes that we’ve done and we’ve done a lot of experiments this season," said Davis, "but this flashback episode takes us back to Derek’s past and we’re really proud of it. You get a lot of insight into the Hale family, especially the question about a werewolf eyes.”
-The show will also be exploring a new mythology tied to a Japanese shapeshifter. “We’re excited to take things into a new direction,” said Davis.
-In an amusing moment, cast member Keahu Kahuanui dressed up in an elaborate disguise to infiltrate the panel, asking "Will we ever see the return of Miguel?" When the actor revealed himself, the crowd went crazy.
