It's been exactly thirty years since the release of Bill Cosby's last stand-up comedy film: the legendary 1983 classic, Bill Cosby: Himself, a film which has a reputation as required viewing for up-and-coming comedians.

As if commemorating the milestone, Comedy Central has announced it will air Bill Cosby: Far From Finished on November 24. The special is not only the comedian's first in thirty years, as his stand-up comedy has been relegated to only those fortunate enough to see him on tour.

The special is directed by Robert Townsend, and is comprised of footage from Cosby’s appearance at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center last month. According to reports of his recent appearances, Cosby is still a master storyteller, and provides hilarious, insightful observations about his family.
