Colin Firth Drops Out of 'Paddington' Film with a Gwyneth Paltrow Joke
Just one week after the trailer for the CGI film version of Paddington was released, the movie's voice actor Colin Firth has dropped out of the project.
With a Gwyneth Paltrow joke no less. Love love love this man.
"After a period of denial, we’ve chosen 'conscious uncoupling,'" he joked about his decision to abandon ship despite having filmed all his voice work while simultaneously referencing Gwyn's recent divorce. As for the reasoning behind the split, Firth explained that he has "come to the sad realization that he simply doesn’t have my voice."
"I’m pestering them all with suggestions for finding a voice worthy of him," he would go on to joke.
