CM Punk Quits The WWE

Bad news for fans of the WWE. They woke up to quite a shock this morning when it was announced that pro wrestler CM Punk has decided to quit the organization.

The news comes just weeks before the biggest wrestling event of the year: Wrestlemania. He allegedly told Vince McMahon that he was going home and never coming back. In turn, he was then removed from all future appearances.

Multiple outlets are reporting that CM Punk was unhappy about the scheduled plans for the event. TMZ reports that Punk was "livid" when he learned fellow wrestler Batista was scheduled to win the Royal Rumble, and then be featured in the title match at Wrestlemania.

If it's any consolation to fans, CM Punk's contract was up in July.
