Clay Aiken - Wild Card - Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me

Clay Aiken sings "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" on the American Idol Season 2 Wildcard Special.

This is one of the best performances pre-Top 12 ever, and certainly the best American Idol wildcard performance when it was still around. Clay Aiken started his quest for superstardom here. He was the viewer's choice that night, and he and the Claymates did not look back. Clay Aiken was never in the Bottom 3, and went on to be the third-best selling Idol of all time, and sold twice as much CDs as Season 2's winner Ruben Studdard.

Clay Aiken is currently starring in Spamalot on Broadway.
