Hot on the heels of her recent engagement to rapper Future, Ciara has announced that she is pregnant. This will be her first child.

Ciara revealed the happy-making news on The View today (Jan. 14) revealing to the show's hosts that she and her soon to be husband were expecting.

Not only did the singer make the announcement, but she proudly showed off the baby-bump on the talk show following rumors that she was in the family way.

This was confirmed on the official View Twitter account, who wrote of their exclusive:

"A rumor no more! @Ciara, shows off her baby bump! #TheView"

Normally we're not ones to support bump watch, but we guess sometimes (like in this case) it works.
