Chrome 15 passes IE 8 as #1 web browser

By Rickey ·

Chrome 15 is now the #1 browser version in the world with 23.6% market share compared to 23.5% for IE 8. The many versions of Internet Explorer however still has a 40.63% market share compared to Chrome with 25.69%.

I thought news like this would never happen after Microsoft used it's desktop monopoly to kill off Netscape. I'm so happy! Things can change!

Incidentally, I'm using Chrome 16.
