Preparation
Christina says that everyone in the competition is so good that it makes her want to be a better artist. Adam thinks she has what it takes to be a huge pop star, and I can’t say I disagree, really. I say this, yet I can’t think of any YouTubers other than Justin Bieber who’ve really made a massive splash in the industry just yet. That said, no reason it can’t be Grimmie. During rehearsal, Adam notes she needs to be careful about how she paces herself in her performance of “Dark Horse” by Katy Perry. As with everyone tonight, the rehearsal vocal sounds terrific, which makes me wonder just how many of the underwhelming performances are simply the victim of acoustics in the arena.
