Chris Rock splits up with wife of 19 years
Actor and funny man Chris Rock has split up with his wife, Malaak Compton-Rock, who he has been married to for 19 years.
Rock's rep tells The Hollywood Reporter: "Chris Rock has filed for divorce from his wife, Malaak. This is a personal matter, and Chris requests privacy as he and Malaak work through this process and focus on their family."
In a statement to People, Compton-Rock said: "After much contemplation and 19 years of marriage, Chris and I have decided to go our separate ways."
They were married in 1996 and they have two girls Lola (12) & Zahra (10).
