Chris Pratt In Talks To Join 'Jurassic World'

Following the departure of Josh Brolin from negotiations to join Jurassic World, Chris Pratt is in early talks to join the film. The Parks & Recreation actor is said to be in talks for a lead role in the upcoming Universal film.

The male lead role is described as a "a rugged ex-military man" who would star alongside already cast Bryce Dallas Howard.

Colin Trevorrow is directing with Steven Spielberg exec-producing the highly anticipated Jurassic Park sequel.

Fan reactions for this seem to be a bit mixed with the majority of them happy at the prospect of seeing Pratt in the part. The others are probably just people like me, still holding out hope for Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill to reprise their roles.

Jurassic World is set for a June 12th, 2015 release.
