Chris Pratt Gets Bleeped, Opens Jars of Pickes In 'SNL' Promos (VIDEO)

Chris Pratt will host the season premiere of Saturday Night Live this weekend with musical guest Ariana Grande. However, the Guardians of the Galaxy star doesn't seem fazed by the pressure. At least not at first.

In these new promos for this weekend's 40th season premiere of SNL, Pratt chats alongside cast member Kate McKinnon, who puts Pratt through the ringer, instilling the fear of God into him over his responsibility as a first-time host. She also encourages him to swear a lot by revealing that his last name is a curse word in England, a detail which results in Pratt getting himself bleeped repeatedly. It all culminates in Pratt opening a seemingly endless collection of pickle jars in a moment that's as random as it is inexplicably humorous. In short, these promos for the SNL season premiere should be nowhere near as funny as they are, yet Pratt and McKinnon really sell them with their delivery.
