Chris Jamison sings 'When I Was Your Man' (VIDEO)

Chris Jamison sang 'When I Was Your Man' by Bruno Mars on The Voice Season 7 Semi-Finals on Monday, December 8, 2014 for Team Adam Levine.

Is it just me, or was this the best performance of the night? I thought this was outstanding. His big falsetto note was ridiculous, and the arrangement (which was thankfully kept low-key, with only the piano, just like the original) was a smart choice for him, since it allowed his vocal to take center stage. His chances have improved exponentially with this performance. Even if he gets eliminated at the start of tomorrow night's show, I like his chances of getting voted back in. And if he does, I think the story of him being eliminated and coming back just might be enough to carry him to the title. Stranger things have happened.

Pharrell and Gwen loved it. Adam, meanwhile, says he didn't even think of Bruno's version of the song when he heard Chris. He says the Chris Jamison version is the only one that matters right now. He pleads with America to vote for Chris because he deserves to be there in the finale next week. And you know what? I agree.
