Chris Hemsworth Didn't Kiss Natalie Portman at the End of 'Thor'

Surprise! Chris Hemsworth wasn't actually kissing Natalie Portman at the end of Thor: The Dark World.

As Portman revealed in a recent interview with the Daily News, she couldn't make her schedule work with the film's reshoots, so Hemsworth's wife Elsa Pataky stepped in to help out.

"It was for reshoots (after the film was finished) and he was working in Hong Kong and I couldn’t get there because I was working on my own film. They put his wife in my wig and costume, that’s why it was so passionate," Portman explained.

She went on to add, "It was such a perfect solution, wasn’t it."

Or you know, they could have gotten Tom Hiddleston to stand in. Then this movie theatre wouldn't be feeling so stupid right now.

Regardless: this is the cutest thing we've read all day.
