VIDEO: Chris Daughtry apologizes for 'Off The Clock' comments on D-Day on Fox & Friends

Chris Daughtry has posted an apology video for his 'Off the clock' remarks last Friday during his appearance on D-Day on Fox & Friends.

The hosts asked him to perform an encore for the troops, to which Chris responded "I'm off the clock, I'll watch you guys."

Chris said that he did not know what to do at the moment as he was caught by surprise. His remarks of course were a disaster since it showed disrespect for the troops. Fans felt he could not even muster a patriotic song for our fallen heroes.

I hope the fans forgive Chris. Obviously there was miscommunication between the show and the band, and Chris was not informed that he would be performing an encore until that very moment on live TV.

We still support you Chris! Thank you for the video.
