Chris Brown sued over Frank Ocean fight

The law isn't through with Chris Brown yet, it would seem.

Rolling Stone is reporting that the R&B singer is being sued for assault and battery as a result of a January altercation between his entourage and Frank Ocean's.

Sha'keir Duarte claims he was assaulted by a member of Brown's entourage during a confrontation between Brown and Ocean, which occurred on January 27th in the parking lot at Hollywood's Westlake Recording Studios. Duarte claims he suffered a concussion from the attack ("as well as humiliation and mental anguish"). He is seeking unspecified damages in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The fight allegedly began after Brown parked his car in Ocean's spot, with Duarte claiming that the incident quickly escalated, as Brown threatened to shoot Ocean's entourage. Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos, claims these allegations are off-base. "This is what gives lawyers and lawsuits a bad name is garbage like this," he said.

Geragos plans to countersue, in addition to asking that the lawsuit against Brown be dropped.
