Chris Brown performs on Today - VIDEO

If you like him, if you don't like him, you can't deny Chris Brown is not one heck of a performer. The singer and media target took his talents to the Today Show, giving a rousing performance of his single "Turn Up the Music." He also performed some of his other electro-pop hits, which vocal-wise were disappointing to give an understatement.

Don't get me wrong, his "Turn Up The Music" performance was EVERYTHING in more as Brown was energetic as usual and actually gave us live vocals. I wonder why he couldn't do that on the Billboard Awards. Most people fail to realize that the trouble singer can sing AND dance like most can't. However the auto-tuned microphone was UNNECESSARY when he performed "Yeah 3x", "Forever" and "Don't Wake Me Up." I have no idea why he sung TUTM regular, but then still sung live on the others, but had this crazy, auto-tuned microphone. Umm...no.

While Brown shows the Today show his pop side, his urban singles "Sweet Love" and "Till I Die" ft. Big Sean & Wiz Khalifa continue to get no chart love.

Do better, Team Breezy. Take notes from "Turn Up The Music" performance and apply it to everything else you guys are doing wrong.
