Chikezie bought himself another week, but he will not make the Top 10. The most he can hope for is Top 11. Outside of Ruben Studdard, the black male R&B singer has been a total bust on American Idol. Even if Chikezie had decent vocals in the semi-finals, which were arguably one of the best vocals in the competition, Chikezie has almost zero appeal -- even with his unique name -- as evidenced by almost zero buzz in the Internet fan boards and low sales on iTunes.

Rickey's Bold Prediction: Top 11 Finish (because I know American Idol reads this blog, and when I write that he will be eliminated next week, they will make him finish 11th out of spite, LOL)

Syesha Mercado was a former contestant on ABC's The One, and is a TV model. I see Syesha Mercado finishing anywhere between Top 3 to 10. Syesha is the token black diva this year in a year when the black diva will clearly not win American Idol. History is on Syesha's side however which makes a Top 3 finish possible: Vonzell Solomon. However, having zero buzz and an almost non-existent fanbase, Syesha Mercado will not finish any higher than Top 8.
