Chevy Chase Returning to 'Community' (Again) in Season 6 (Briefly)

Just because Chevy Chase's character Pierce Hawthorne is no longer on Community and dead doesn't mean he won't return.

The actor revealed in a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) that he will have a cameo in the series sixth season set to air on Yahoo.

Said the noted curmudgeon, "I will be in a small cameo at the beginning of Community and if they ask me to come back and do one or two appearances, it’s a possibility."

Of course, despite a public fallout with creator Dan Harmon resulting in Chase's exit, the actor also had a brief appearance in Season 5 (after that gas leak year) as a hologram.

We're hoping this time he comes back as a ghost. Just don't expect him to walk through any doors -- ghost aren't fire, stupid!
