Cher to perform on 'The Voice' finale

It's official: Cher is headed to The Voice.
The Oscar, Grammy, Emmy and three-time Golden Globe winning star will make a live appearance on the June 18 season finale of NBC’s megahit singing competition series.
Cher will perform “Woman’s World,” the first single off her upcoming album of the same name, which will release on Sept. 24. “Woman’s World” marks Cher's first album in 12 years, and her appearance on The Voice will be the singer's first live TV performance in over a decade.
This is a big coup for the series: though Cher might not be the most contemporary artist in the world, she's a legitimate icon. Not only has she earned three of the entertainment industry's big four awards, but Cher is also the only artist to have a No. 1 single on the Billboard pop charts in each of the last six decades. That's some crazy-ass longevity.
