CBS Rebooting 'Charmed'

In "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS!?!" news, CBS has decided to reboot the classic witch dramedy Charmed.
According to Vulture, the network has given a script commitment for the former Aaron Spelling helmed show which will be penned by Party of Five co-creator Chris Keyser and Sydney Sidner.
The reboot will follow four sisters as they deal with the ramifications that they are witches tasked with battling the forces of evil to protect so-called "innocents."
Or you know, three sister witches and later two sister witches and one half-sister who is half witch half Whitelighter if they were actually following the formula of the original.
The reason for the reboot is blamed on the current "witch craze." By our count there are only two witch shows on right now: the newest season of American Horror Story which is focused on a coven and the Lifetime series Witches of East End so we don't really know if we buy that.
Mostly we're just empathizing with Paige right now.
