Charlize Theron, Andy Samberg to Host Final SNL Episodes This Season

The final two episodes of SNL this season will be hosted by an Oscar winner and a former Saturday Night Live cast member, respectively.

On May 10, Charlize Theron will return to host SNL for the second time alongside musical guest The Black Keys, making their third appearance on the show. This is all to promote her upcoming role in Seth MacFarlane's Western comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West on May 30. Meanwhile, The Black Keys will debut their eighth studio album, Turn Blue, not long after their SNL appearance. The new record releases on May 12.

The following week, SNL will bring back fan favorite Andy Samberg, a cast member from 2005 to 2012, for the 39th season finale. This marks Samberg’s first time hosting. His profile has been on a rise ever since his FOX comedy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, took off. He won a Golden Globe in January for his role on the show, and the series has already been renewed for a second season this fall. Samberg will be joined by musical guest St. Vincent, the singer-songwriter best known for fronting the reunited Nirvana at the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

The next new episode, airing May 3rd, features The Amazing Spider-Man himself: Andrew Garfield will host with musical guest Coldplay.
