Charli XCX sings 'Boom Clap' on TODAY (VIDEO)

Charli XCX sang 'Boom Clap' on TODAY on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. This song is from The Fault in Our Stars original soundtrack.

Charli XCX co-wrote some big hits like 'I Love It' by Icona Pop and 'Fancy' by Iggy Azalea.

Nice to see her get some recognition as a solo artist now. Kinda reminds me of the route that Rising Star expert Kesha took with her career as well as Katy Perry. Make your name as a singer/songwriter in pop music instead of just all image.

'Boom Clap' reached as high as number 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 on May 2014. Looking forward to more hits from Charli XCX.
