Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne Are Getting Divorced

After a little over one year of marriage, Canadian-born rock stars Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne are getting divorced.

"It's over," a source confirmed to Us Weekly. "He has been going around L.A. telling people that they are divorcing."

Of course, many have been skeptical of the marriage from the start, as Kroeger proposed to Lavigne in August 2012 after just one month of dating. It took a year before they officially tied the knot, getting married in a quiet ceremony in France in July 2013.

Neither Lavigne nor Kroeger have commented on the rumors of a divorce, but the source states it's virtually a done deal.
