Chad James beats Danny Gokey for WAMI Christian / Gospel Artist Award

Chad James beat fellow Wisconsin-Gospel-artist Danny Gokey at the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Awards. He won for Christian/Gospel Artist of the Year

Best Christian/Gospel Artist Nominees:
Chad James, Danny Gokey, Skillet His Way

Danny Gokey is now the most successful Christian/Gospel artist on American Idol.

Mandisa placed #9 and Chris Sligh placed #10. So even if the Danny-haters will look at this as a loss, Danny has already achieved so much.

A Christian/Gospel American Idol winner is as trailblazing as a Gay/Jewish American Idol winner, or a Hispanic American Idol winner, or an Asian American Idol winner (which will never happen because America hates Asians on Idol).
