'Celebrity Apprentice' renewed for another season

NBC is remaining in the Donald Trump business, renewing Celebrity Apprentice for the 14th season in the Apprentice franchise.
Donald Trump broke the news on Twitter earlier today:
"I AM PLEASED TO INFORM YOU THAT CELEBRITY APPRENTICE HAS BEEN RENEWED FOR ANOTHER SEASON BY NBC. SEE YOU AT THE NBC UPFRONTS TOMORROW."
The series began in 2004 with non-celebrity competitors vying for a job with the Trump Organization. However, since the show transitioned to a celebrity format, there has been only one non-celebrity edition -- yet celebrities have invariably proven to be a bigger draw for audiences, ensuring the continuation of the more lucrative format.
