Celebrity Apprentice - Pepperoni Profit - Recap
Celebrity Apprentice has a fantastic cast this season!
Synopsis: Sixteen celebrities engage in business-themed battles when Donald Trump's competition series opens its 11th season. The celebrities include Star Jones, Marlee Matlin, Dionne Warwick, Gary Busey, David Cassidy, Lil Jon, Meat Loaf and Mark McGrath.
The teams get divided: men vs. women.
The women agree to be called Team ASAP -- and vote Star Jones as first project manager. Apparently ASAP meant something, but no one knows what it is or at least Latoya Jackson doesn't. When Donald Trump asked her, she just said a couple of things, and Star corrected her every single time, LOL.
OMG The men's team is so volatile! Hahaha. Gary Busey and Meatloaf are crazy. They vote to be called Team Backbone and vote Richard Hatch as first project manager.
Challenge: Sell pizza. The women sell in the Theatre District, the men sell in NYU area.
The men and woman start calling their friends to buy pizza before they even learn how to operate the pizza places.
Dionne Warwick couldn't figure out the credit card machine!
Gary Busey was the Pepperoni Profit!
Twist: Curtis Stone comes in to judge the pizzas and the best pizza gets an additional $35,000. But the teams needs to deliver some pizzas to a firehouse to claim the money.
The women's team won the taste test.
Then 2 hours before the end of the challenge, Star Jones closes the store so they could fulfill a $40,000 order. They were able to make the delivery, but weren't able to make the delivery to the firehouse to claim the $35,000.
Board Room:
The women raised $115,268 and the men raised $54,104.
Niki Taylor was the MVP of the women's team and Donald Trump gave the $35,000 to her charity.
Results:
Richard Hatch brought in Jose Canseco and David Cassidy with him in the final boardroom.
Wow, I was so embarrassed for David Cassidy! He was so out of his league. Richard Hatch did everything perfectly to get David fired.
David Cassidy was fired.
This season is amazing!
