The show has never raised so much money in a single season and it all happened in one challenge. Trump makes a deal and suggests that the losing team get to keep their money to which John Rich and Marlee Matlin agreed.
Men: $626,908
Women: $986,000 - an all-time Apprentice record
Donald Trump adds $14,000 to the women's team for a total of $1,000,000 to Marlee's charity.
Trump then tries to make a deal again whether to fire someone on the men's team since Jose had left -- but the women say that someone should be fired on the men's team.
Since he raised the least money on the men's team, Richard Hatch was fired. Wow. The women technically got him fired -- they even repeatedly suggested it to Trump since the women were present in the board room.
