Cee Lo Green won't be returning to 'The Voice' next season - Video

Cee-Lo Green was on Ellen yesterday and he made a surprise announcement: He is not returning to The Voice as a coach next season or ever.

Instead he said he will have other projects with NBC and work on his album.

"I'm not coming back guys," he said.

Cee Lo is going on tour with Lionel Richie.

This is sad news but I'm not that surprised. Cee Lo Green performed really badly as coach last season when he had some really good talent on his hands. He must have been distracted or wanting to do other things. So here we are.

We will miss you Cee Lo!
