After an all-out bidding war, CBS has hit paydirt with a series from two Oscar winners.

The network has landed a half-hour comedy pilot starring comedian Tom Papa that features Ben Affleck and Matt Damon as executive producers. The multi-camera sitcom, titled More Time With Family, is based on the stand-up of Papa and the experiences of Damon, and centers on a guy (played by Papa) who gives up life on the road and changes careers in order to spend more time at home with his family. However, once he gets there, he realizes that no one is really happy to have him around all the time. The series has landed Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldsmith as co-writers, with 20th Century Fox TV producing.

The project originated with Papa and Damon, who had worked together on The Informant and Behind The Candelabra. They teamed with Affleck, whose company, Pearl Street Films, is making headway in television. This project marks the behind-the-scenes reunion of Damon and Affleck, who won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for 1997's Good Will Hunting. Affleck recently won a second Oscar as a producer on Best Picture winner Argo.

There is no timetable for when the pilot is expected to begin filming, as no casting news beyond Papa's has been announced as of yet.
